My compulsion towards the parts of the Japanese Domestic Market is not based on a personal assessment of performance superiority. It is about design, quality, and attention to detail. Likely my biggest obsession of the industry, Power House Amuse is quite possibly the superlative of JDM parts. Hardly boring or run-of-the-mill, the products that come out of their facility in Chiba are not simply functional components to be admired momentarily pre-installation, only to be forsaken shortly after brusque acknowledgment of any performance benefit or gain. Every Amuse part contains an all-too-real element of genuine automotive artistry.

Similar to the refined modification of my friend, Jason's, steering wheel, here is another example of brilliant modification to an OEM interior without achieving that tacky, over-the-top result. Access Evolution, once again, does not disappoint. Far from gaudy, the re-wrapped seats, shift boot, steering wheel, and candy red paint on the trim pieces add some tasteful flavor to this Nissan Skyline 370GT.

Note the attention to detail: OEM-like replacement of the factory "compact disc" and "DVD" trademark logos

I'm a fan of the white stitching on the red leather shift boot and seats...

Not only has it earned a "feature" on one of the typical, trendy, and trite stance websites, but if one were to ask the owner of the G featured on this HIN pre-party flyer what aero his G37 is wearing, he would proudly proclaim a replica manufacturer that has not only ripped off the original design of the Zele G37 as seen on his car, but other JDM companies such as Nismo, Impul, INGS+1, C-West, Chargespeed, VeilSide, Amuse, and Vertex... 


Color me disillusioned, disenchanted, and disgusted.
